RobertRobert Powers
Similar to the other members of the Regent Advisors team, Robert's career includes extensive finance and operating experience. Prior to starting Regent Advisors Investments, Robert Powers spent seven years with Chicago Growth Partners where he sourced, structured, executed, and managed private equity leveraged buy-out and growth capital investments.

Robert was a corporate vice president at ITT Corporation where he was responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities and developing strategies for pursuing adjacent industries. Prior to ITT, Robert served as a Director with Merrill Lynch Investment Banking, with responsibility for the Business Services industry. He also worked at McDonnell Douglas (now part of Boeing) where he held positions in operations and finance.

Mr. Powers' current and prior investments include: Workforce Solutions, Benetech, FineLine Technologies, ScribeAmerica, and Royall & Co. He received an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine.


Jon Joni Grossman
Joni is a Managing Director at Regent Advisors Investments. Joni previously worked in Credit Suisse Private Equity's Customized Fund Investment Group. While at Credit Suisse, she invested in early to late stage private equity funds and co-invested in fund portfolio companies on behalf of pension funds, endowments and family offices.

Prior to completing her MBA at Columbia Business School, Joni was senior investment banking analyst in Morgan Stanley's corporate finance department. At Morgan Stanley, she worked on several primary and secondary stock offerings, debt financings and merger advisory assignments. Joni received a BA with Honors from University of Texas at Austin and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Additionally, she serves as Co-Chair of SCO Family of Services' Family Dynamics Council and is a member of Common Sense Media's New York Advisory Board.


Jon Jonathan Lamb
Prior to joining the team at Regent Advisors Investments, Mr. Lamb served as the Director of Human Resources and Government Compliance at ScribeAmerica, the nation's largest and most frequent used medical scribe services company. At ScribeAmerica, he oversaw all human resources and government compliance matters for more than 5,000 employees in 40+ states nationwide.

Prior to joining ScribeAmerica, Mr. Lamb worked as an associate attorney at the law firm of Best Best & Krieger in both California and the District of Columbia. While at the firm, Mr. Lamb garnered extensive experience in drafting and analyzing contracts and transactional matters, advising governing bodies on all manner of legal and governance matters, and navigating regulatory and legal affairs relating to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Mr. Lamb received his Jurist Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law, his Masters of Public Policy from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, and his Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College. He is a member in good standing of both the California and District of Columbia bars.


Tom Tom Hicks
Prior to joining Regent Advisors Investments, Tom Hicks was the Chief Financial Officer of URS Corporation (2005-2015), a $12 Billion corporation focused on five key market sectors: federal, oil and gas, infrastructure, power, and industrial. Prior to being acquired by AECOM, URS had over 50,000 employees and operated in nearly 50 countries. Tom has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, treasury, tax and accounting.

Tom was a Managing Director with Merrill Lynch Investment Banking, with responsibility for the Aerospace, Defense, Information Services and Engineering and Construction industries. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Tom led the M&A activities at both Litton Industries and Science Applications International Corporation where he completed 60+ acquisitions.

Mr. Hicks is a member of the Board of the American Red Cross, San Francisco Bay Chapter. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Virginia.
